Aransas Day at the Capitol

Aransas County Day at the Capitol was a great success as some 55 citizens of Aransas County converged on the Capitol with information and recognition. This event presented an opportunity for local representatives to board a bus and go together as a group to Austin during the 82nd Legislative session. The group was able to meet legislators from across the state, as well as staff members and agency heads. The Aransas County delegation was officially recognized in both the Senate and House. During the lunch hour, the RFHS Band performed a “Patriotic Concert” to all those present. Our thanks and gratitude goes out to the Staff of State Representative’s office and the Senator’s office for their superb coordination.
